FAQs

A psychological intervention or therapy session is a safe, confidential and empathic space where you can focus on your emotional needs. Each session is tailored to your goals and personal process by exploring your current and past thoughts, emotions and experiences to better understand the challenges you are facing.

Each person is different and sessions are designed to meet your unique needs and pace. The goal is to build a trusting relationship where you feel understood, supported and empowered to achieve your goals.

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. It's important that you feel comfortable and understood. In the first 2-3 sessions you will have the opportunity to see if the therapeutic approach suits your needs. Because of the importance of the therapeutic relationship, I recommend that you remain in a therapeutic process only if you feel emotionally safe.

Yes, confidentiality is an essential part of therapy. Everything we discuss in sessions stays between us, except in special situations required by law, such as safety risks to yourself or others.

Of course. Therapy is good not only for problem-solving, but also for personal development, increasing self-esteem and finding inner balance.

The response varies depending on the person and the goals of therapy. Some problems can be addressed in a few sessions, while others require a longer process.

Sessions can also take place online to offer you convenience and flexibility. However, if you live in Bucharest and prefer the online option, I recommend that at least the first 3 sessions take place face-to-face. The direct human connection, the richer nonverbal interaction, as well as the routine and commitment that is created are factors that help the therapeutic process.
